Mt Cook NP Alpine Experience

At 1800 metres on the Sealy Range, Mueller Hut provides a 360-degree panorama encompassing glaciers, ice cliffs, vertical rock faces and New Zealand’s highest peaks.

The Mueller Ridge hike from Mount Cook village, up past Sealy Tarns, and finally on to Mueller Hut itself, is one of the most easily accessible and rewarding day hikes in New Zealand. The Hooker, Muller & Tasman Glaciers also provide stupendous alpine short walking experiences in the valley bottoms.

If spending time in the Mt Cook National Park, home to NZ’s tallest mountain wasn’t enough, you’ll love the optional walk to the stupidly scenic Mueller Hut.

Be surrounded by pure nature in all her extremes, glaciers, braided alpine rivers, steep sided carved valleys, alpine meadows & flowers, snow capped peaks, hanging glaciers..... phew - we could just keep going on!
