Mt Cook NP Alpine Experience

Standing at 3,724 meters as the highest peak in the Southern Hemisphere, Mount Cook is one of the most impressive sights in New Zealand.

Drive along Lake Pukaki before entering the impressive Hooker Valley, home to several peaks over 2,000 meters, glacial lakes and rivers, dense vegetation, and views of avalanches crashing in the distance.

Join us on one of the most easily accessible and rewarding day hikes in New Zealand on the Hooker Valley Track. Winding through the valley, across suspension bridges, and along the Hooker River, this track provides incredible photo opportunities as well as views unrivaled by most locations in New Zealand.

Be surrounded by pure nature in all her extremes, glaciers, braided alpine rivers, steep sided carved valleys, alpine meadows & flowers, snow capped peaks, hanging glaciers..... phew - we could just keep going on!
