description

Interested in learning to rock climb, but never known where to start?  This course is designed for you!

We've designed this one-day intro to rock climbing course to equip you with the basic safety and technique skills you need to pursue top-rope rock climbing independently.  This course covers basic climbing principles, general safety, how to belay, and movement and climbing techniques for sport climbing.  By the end of the day, you will be equipped to hit the crag with some friends, or pursue further learning with one of our intermediate courses.

Whether you've been climbing indoors for a while, or have never climbed before, we're here to help get you on the wall with the knowledge necessary to continue climbing long after you've finished this course.  Don't worry if you don't know the lingo or don't have stellar athletic abilities - neither are required for this course!  By the end of the day, you will have the knowledge to safely and successfully carry on top-rope sport climbing for years to come.
